Christina Kwan and Brooklyn the Alaskan Malamute

Meet Brooklyn and the New Blog

Well, I must say that this is not my first blog, however, it is the FIRST blog of this newly debuted site. Under this “Every Day Life” blog category, you’ll find stories about my awesome Brooklyn, an Alaskan Malamute. You’ll also find stories in various topics including health, fitness, boxing, motorsports and poker. It’s my life – it’s my journey and I’m glad you’re coming along for the ride.

I currently have more projects on the table than imaginable, but no doubt, that’s what keeps me hungry and working harder than ever. Life is about inspiring others while seeking inspiration yourself. For me, I watch a lot of sports. It’s just got to be the competitive nature of it that I love. This morning, I woke up to catch the Wimbledon Men’s Finals between Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer – seeded #1 and #2 respectively. While I remember Federer at the peak of his career when he was untouchable, this match was still a great one with the world’s top players battling it out. Even more inspirational are the post match speeches and interviews. Conducting themselves with the utmost professionalism and respect for one another – gamesmanship was at its finest.

Following Wimbledon, I saw that my DVR had started playing the NHRA Drag Racing finals on ESPN2. Yes! Another sport that I follow very closely. 10,000 HP rumbling down to a 1,000 ft finish line. That’s nitro power and so unforgettable when you get the chance to be there live. I’ve stood on the start line before when I handled Public Relations for one of the Funny Car teams and while the nitro fumes choke you and make your eyes water, you live in that crazy moment of a thunderous launch that just rattles your body. It’s pure awesomeness!
