Feel great. Be great.

You see, I’m a low maintenance girl. If I’m not sweating in the gym, then I’m often found on a leg of “The Amazing Race”.  I can also be found wrenching away on an engine or I am working feverishly in front of three computers heading into crunch time to meet a deadline.  In all of my scenarios, I am sweating.   I know I’ve painted quite a nice picture for you!

Yesterday, for Mother’s Day (my 5-year-old Alaskan Malamute counts!) I whipped out my flat iron, did my own manicure and pedicure and I felt awesome! Life’s hectic schedule doesn’t allow me too much time for myself, so yesterday was a good excuse to take that time out.

In any case, I realize that feeling great, both inside and out, is really the key that gives us confidence in taking on this crazy game we call life. We truly gain confidence when we feel as if we’re putting forth our best.  How we look. How we dress. How we deliver ourselves is how the world takes us. It’s all within our control.

So I’m challenging everyone to be your best in order to feel your best. Take care of yourself – your health, your body, your mind.  Don’t sit back and accept a current situation that you’re not happy with.  Get up and do something about it, but first, remember to love yourself. If you do that, your outlook will see that the world presents every opportunity that you’ve ever wanted to seize. Don’t let anyone stop you. Go out there and get it.
